Venezuelan Prison Gang Takes Over Apartment Buildings in Texas
A recent report has revealed that the Venezuelan transnational gang Tren de Aragua has seized control of at least four apartment complexes in San Antonio, Texas. The gang, comprised of thousands of illegal alien gangsters, has been causing havoc across the nation, with crime spiking from Colorado to Texas to New York City. The armed migrant prison gang is believed to have entered the country through the open southern borders.
Details of the Report
The DailyMail has reported that a dangerous Venezuelan gang has extended its reach to another American city, taking over at least four apartment complexes in San Antonio, Texas. The report identified Palatia Apartments as one of the complexes where members of Tren de Aragua (TdA) have been operating. The apartment complex was recently raided by a small army of police officers, resulting in the arrest of 19 individuals, including four gang members.
Law enforcement sources have confirmed that TdA had been operating at the Palatia Apartments for five to six months. The gang members were squatting in vacant units, which they either rented out to other migrants, used as a base for dealing cocaine, or used as dens for prostitution.
Extent of the Invasion
The invasion of the Palatia Apartments is just the tip of the iceberg. The criminal organization has also occupied at least three other rental properties in the major southern Texas city. While the Palatia Apartments complex was full of TdA members, the names of the other three buildings have not been disclosed due to ongoing police investigations.
Residents of the apartment complex have spoken out about the dangers of living in the Palatia Apartments, with reports of gunshots being heard day and night.
Previous Incidents
The activities of TdA in San Antonio follow similar incidents in the Denver suburb of Aurora last month, which is a sanctuary city run by far-left Democrats. Since 2022, over 42,000 migrants have poured into the sanctuary city of Denver, Colorado, including members of the Tren de Aragua gang.
Leaked documents from the US Army have warned that as many as 5,000 TdA members have invaded the nation, many of whom are armed. The gang's command and control center has reportedly moved north to just below the US border in the Mexican town of Ciudad Juarez, and the group is rapidly expanding its turf nationwide. This could potentially ignite gang warfare with native US gangs.
Recruitment from Migrant Shelters
Police sources have revealed to the NYPost that TdA has been recruiting members and victims straight out of NYC-run migrant shelters. In New York City, Tren de Aragua is trying to recruit foot soldiers to force women into sex trafficking, which they hope will become a main source of income for the gang.
Bottom Line
The alarming expansion of the Tren de Aragua gang into American cities raises serious concerns about public safety and national security. The situation underscores the importance of effective border control and immigration policies. What are your thoughts on this situation?
