Warning: Trump's Potential Lawfare Against Democratic OppositionThe Leftist Media's Warning: Trump Could Use Lawfare Against Democratic Opposition Earlier this year in May, conservatives were taken aback when news broke that Donald Trump had been convicted by a New York court on 34 "felony" charges related to the Stormy Daniels hush money case. The charges alleged that this amounted to "election interference." New York prosecutors manipulated what could have been a misdemeanor case into a felony case. Trump, after exiting the courtroom, addressed reporters, declaring the trial as rigged and disgraceful. He asserted that the real verdict would come from the people on November 5th. This conviction could be seen as the climax of a drawn-out and unprecedented campaign of "lawfare" by the Democratic Party, aimed at eliminating Trump from the 2024 election race before voters could cast their votes. The left was ecstatic, believing they had secured the White House. At that time, many progressive journalists published articles detailing how the conviction would terminate Trump's political career. None questioned the legitimacy of the charges or the clear political motives behind transforming a misdemeanor charge into a felony charge. However, they did admit their intention to use the label "convicted felon" as much as possible during the campaign cycle. But the Supreme Court put a damper on the DNC's celebration when they ruled that Trump's presidential immunity shielded him from the charges in question. It's doubtful that any of the cases brought against Trump by Democrats in the past few years will impact the election. Ironically, the media is now cautioning that Trump might use the Department of Justice against his Democratic rivals if he wins the presidency in November. In a recent article titled 'The Coming Trump Revenge Tour', Politico suggests that Trump, having been through the legal wringer, will seek retribution. They argue that he could cause havoc in the lives of many of his political opponents by subjecting them to lengthy, expensive, and highly disruptive criminal investigations and prosecutions. Meanwhile, The Washington Post in a recent Op-Ed titled 'Trump’s Promise To Exact Revenge Won’t Be Hindered By Mere Laws', contends that Trump will surpass lawfare and establish a full-blown police state. The left's obliviousness to their own actions is concerning. These are the same people who prematurely judged the Russian collusion allegations and the Steele Dossier, labeling Trump a traitor and foreign agent. The dossier was discredited, and the allegations were proven false. They are also the same people who tried to enforce unconstitutional mandates and economic lockdowns on the American public during the covid pandemic, nearly all of which were found to be ineffective. Could it be that Democrats, after years of inciting race riots, encouraging leftist mobs to target conservative politicians and Supreme Court judges, undermining individual liberties in the name of public health, colluding with Big Tech companies to censor millions of Americans in violation of their 1st Amendment rights, using the legal system as a weapon against their main political opponent, and promoting the idea of assassination which led to two separate attempts on Donald Trump's life, are now realizing that they might be due for some payback? The fear that leftists seem to have of Donald Trump's return might not be due to his alleged "racism" or "fascism." Perhaps they fear Trump because they fear Karma. Bottom Line This article presents a thought-provoking perspective on the potential consequences of the Democratic Party's actions against Donald Trump. It raises the question of whether the fear of Trump's return is due to the potential for political payback. What are your thoughts on this matter?
